Research Intersts:  Fermentation process development for production of industrial enzymes, single cell protein, organic acids and other industrial products using agro-industrial wastes and by- products. Biocatalysis: Enzyme kinetics, production, purification, characterization, engineering, immobilization, chemical modifications and industrial applications of microbial enzymes. Bioremediation and biosorption of textile dyes and heavy metals, bioremediation of effluents from textile and other industries.
