Research Intersts:  Water is the most important vital input for crop productivity. The efficient use of it is very important. There are number of ways to increase the water use efficiency. The advanced techniques of efficient use of water and modeling approach can guide the user to apply optimum water for the crop. This will ensure water use efficiency without yield reduction. It can also simulate crop water productivity under changing climatic scenarios.
