Research Intersts:  Synthesis and application modern photocatalysts with high efficiency for wastewater treatment using UV-254 nm, UV-365 nm and solar light. Synthesis and applications of graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, their binary and ternary composites. Applications of advanced oxidation Processes (AOPs) for the remediation of industrial effluents. Synthesis and applications of modern solvents (Ionic Liquids, Eutectics) in extraction desulphurization and cellulose processing using modern techniques. Solvent-solute interaction in ground and electronically excited state.
