Research Intersts:  I am interested in polyploidy, interspecific hybridization and evolution. My work in Brassica has previously phenotypic, genetic and epigenetic in interspecific hybrids. I am interested in formation of new species in both evolutionary and breeding contexts, and in particular the mechanisms of polyploid formation and genome stabilization after polyploidization. I am also interested in molecular vegetable breeding and vegetable seed production.
