a Cytogenetics Lab. are in operation. A herd of crossbred cattle is maintained
by this department for teaching and experimental purposes. For proper
interpretation of results, huge bulk of data accumulated at various Government
Livestock Farms is being analyzed to effect further improvement in animals
maintained there. Interdisciplinary research studies with various departments in
the University and with Government Livestock Experiment Stations are underway.
