Functions of
Directorate |
-
To advise the
University Authorities on all matters connected with the promotion of research
and publications of results of research in the University.
-
To deal with and
advise University Authorities on all matters connected with the research
problems and projects including those financed by Pakistan Agricultural
Research Council, Pakistan Science Foundation and other research financing
agencies.
-
To correspond with
national and international agencies supporting research in connection with
funding of research Projects of the University.
-
To assist Advanced
Studies and Research Board in reviewing faculty research projects, and other
projects financed by national and international research supporting agencies.
-
To organize and
coordinate national/international seminars, conferences, meetings etc. at the
Campus.

Besides serving as an instruments of research management and coordination on
campus, the Directorate of Research also acts as a media for developing
enlightened rapport between the University scientists and their international
counterparts in quest of useful exchanges of views and materials, research
funding and ultimate promotion of agricultural research for mutual benefit. |
