Office of the Director of Academics have had
organized many State of the Art Courses to create a stimulating research
environment which encourages scholarly and academic inquiry leading to
generation of new knowledge among our young Lecturers and Assistant
Professors of this University. Our aim is to provide and inculcate
research culture for all research employee as well as supporting
professional for their future growth and development in science.
VISION
1. To evolve/develop the University of
Agriculture into a seat of modern institution of higher learning in
Agricultural education and research.
2. Commitment to quality programs relevant
to rapidly changing global needs and aspirations of our population
particularly to the farmers.
MISSION
1.
Faculty development a continuous mission; Continuous training of
the teaching and research staff with the latest technologies.

Short and long term training programmes on teaching
methodologies. Improvement in English speaking and communication skills
of young faculty members.
3.
Provision of improved working facilities for the faculty/research
staff. The aim is to provide an environment that supports highly
creative and intellectual work to benefit students and the faculty and
at large our agricultural community.
4.
Identify ways to provide incentives to faculty by innovative
approaches which promote student’s learning.
5.
Encourage faculty to act as role model for the students.
