Research Intersts: My present focus is on management of vertebrate pests’ (small mammals and birds) through use of biological and mechanical measures. Technologies have been developed to effectively manage their depredations on the variety of crops and stored grain structures. Work has been done mainly using the trap barrier system, an ecologically friendly approach against rodent pests and also on avian trichomonosis in the feral pigeons and common myna. Studies have also been incorporated using the microsatellite markers against house sparrow (Passedr domesticus) in various regions of the Punjab, Pakistan.
