Position & Department: Incharge/Associate Professor, Institute of Physiology and Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Science
Research Intersts: My research is focused on drug residues studies in food animals, pharmaceutical and chemical toxicity analysis. Current interest are focused on screening and pharmacological evaluation of indigenous medicinal plants
Position & Department: Associate Professor, Institute of Physiology and Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Science
Research Intersts: Use of polymer nano-particles in drug delivery and bio-detoxification. QSAR analysis of xenobiotics such as drugs, pesticides, heavy metals, hydrocarbons. Dermal absorption kinetics and toxicity studies in invitro and invivo models. Pharmacokinetics of drugs and health protective effects of plant extracts against induced toxicological insults in animal models.
Position & Department: Assistant Professor, Institute of Physiology and Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Science
Research Intersts: ENDOCRINE PHYSIOLOGY
Research Intersts: Stem Cell as Regenerative Medicine. Stem cell technology is widely using for the treatment of various diseases and transplantation of primary cell culturing of beta cell, hepatic cell and nerve cell. Multidrug resistance is key feature of stem cell and stem cell targeting for development of drug. Stem cell technology, Genome wide association study, molecular biology and bioinformatics are key areas of my interest.
Position & Department: Lecturer, Institute of Physiology and Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Science
Research Intersts: Immunology and Endocrinology
Research Intersts: My research focus is on endocrinology and mechanistic evaluation of endocrine disrupting potential of different commonly used chemicals including pesticides. Many chemicals, known as endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are found to have endocrine disrupting effects which alter the hormone action. EDCs can change the normal working of the endocrine glands by imitating or obstructing endogenous hormone action, modulating body’s own hormone synthesis or amending hormone receptors. 2. Cancer therapy is a burning topic all over the world and I am working on different treatment options in different types of cancers. I am in collaboration with other research teams to research on cancer epigenetics, targeted drug delivery for cancer therapy, gene silencing and use of stem cells for cancer therapy.
Research Intersts: • Pharmacokinetics of drug and interaction of drugs. • Experience on nuclear and other advanced techniques used in animal sciences.
Research Intersts: Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Nanomedicine
