Research Intersts: Antibiotic residues have gained a major position in public health perspective as emergence of “superbugs” due to antibiotic resistance is talk of the time. Antibiotic tainted milk is one of the major sources for the dissemination of antibiotic residues to human population. Alternatives to antibiotics (non-antibiotic antibacterials) are need of time to cure infectious diseases of dairy animals to avoid this emerging issue. My area of research is use of non-antibiotic antibacterials for treating infectious diseases of animals. Moreover, anesthesiology and soft tissue surgery in small and large animals is my passion so most of my postgraduate students’ research projects relate to wound healing, chemical castration and other surgical related interventions.
