He was addressing a lecture titled ‘Seerat Un Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him)’ arranged by Senior Tutor Office at the Iqbal Auditorium Hall, UAF. Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa , Senior Tutor Dr Athar Javed and Dr Tahir Siddiqui also spoke on the occasion. He said that life of last and final prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the practical example of Holy Quran and give us complete guideline in every sphere. He said that Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is Rehmatullilalameen who guided us in every matter of life.
He urged the people to promote the culture of forgiveness, brotherhood, honesty, truth, helps for others, Taqwa, do best for humanity including children, sick, and old people as per Uswa-e-Hasana of the Last and Final Prophet (PBUH). He lamented that non-implementation of Islamic rules and laws in our lives were sole and main reason of decay of Muslim Ummah. He said that instead of following Quran and Sunnah, worship of wealth, power and money had taken roots in the society and we had minimized tawakul on Allah Subhanahotallah. He stressed upon students to give due respects to their parents, relatives, and teachers. He urged the people to offer prayer five times a day.
Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa said that solutions to all the problems facing the Muslim Ummah is in the following the Seerat Un Nabi (PBUH). He urged the students to read Quran and Hadith daily with the translations and tafseer . He stressed upon the people for character building as per injunction of Seerat Un Nabi (PBUH) that will bring prosperity and revolutions. He said our society was lacking in the feelings and cares for others and urged the teaches and Ulamas to address the issue at the national level.
